New support group for individuals diagnosed with celiac diseaseReply to this Comment
Who It May Concern:
According to NIH, celiac is the country's MOST-underdiagnosed disease, affecting at least one in 133 Americans. The disease also affects people across all races, except those who have ancestry in certain traditionally non-wheat-eating countries, such as the Far East and the Pacific Islands.
Gluten-Free-Way-105 (http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/GFW105/) is a free support group for all individuals who live with either celiac disease or gluten sensitivity in many L.A. cities/communities along Interstate 105, such as: Athens, Bellflower, Compton, Downey, Florence-Graham, Fox Hills, Harbor Gateway North, Hollydale, Huntington Park, Hyde Park, Inglewood, Lennox, Lynwood, Norwalk, Paramount, Rancho Dominguez, South L.A., Southgate, Studebaker, Walnut Park, Watts, Westchester, Westmont, and Willowbrook.
I sincerely hope that if you or anyone you know in Lynwood or another area served by GFW105 has celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, the affected person(s) will take this opportunity to visit and to consider joining GFW105, offering our free support.
Very truly yours,
Paul Jackson
